Meet Blair

      My name is Christopher Blair Carlair - some call me Chris, most call me Blair. I'm a self taught decorator and designer located in Los Angeles, California. Since a child, I've always been very artistic - in many forms, but especially in the visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpting, etc.).I've always had a knack for space planning, furniture arrangement and decor of all kinds. I remember growing up in Buffalo, NY and helping my mom make drapes for the windows, and put up various decorations as the seasons passed. I would draw up different furniture plans for my room, and present the plans to my parents before reconfiguring my space. My aunts will tell you about how I'd come to their houses and rearrange their furniture throughout the house, and spend the whole weekend "remodeling" my cousins' rooms. No wonder my life's path has taken me down this road. 

       

       In very early 2020 (just before COVID-19 was a thing), I was having a conversation with a colleague about goals and future talk when they said to me "I think you'd be good in fashion - like clothing or even interior design like home styling", I then shared that interior decor and design has been a passion of mine for some time as a hobby, and how I love DIY. I received some great advice that day, "Start documenting everything... every project, every object you upcycle.... everything!" Next thing I know, I decided to document my living room make over on social media - followed by some home DIY projects while in quarantine and thus Flair by Blair Decor & Design LLC was birthed! Since then, I've been booked project after project for various clients all while studying to get my national license.

      Flair by Blair brings you a stylish personalized space that will leave guests gagging in awe - there will always be a moment! Sometimes all a space needs is some Flair - some new paint, a new arrangement, some new pieces to make it feel like a completely different space. A lot of times clients own items that I can completely reimagine and make into something new.... I call that Renovation in a Can! I pride this business on turning spaces completely around on a super modest budget. You don't have to break the bank to break necks, okuuurrr! And when we're done, and they ask you who showed out on your space. Point them right to me!
