Living and Dining
This is where you relax and wind down, where you enjoy time with family and loved ones! You create lots of fond memories in these spaces, and it should be as beautiful as those memories!
Primary Living
Sometimes creative juices just flow with projects, but a lot times of my inspiration comes from artwork. Here, my client had a print of a beautiful woman wearing a colorful African headdress. She said she loved the colors in it, and so did I! Alas, you have modern accent wall that really makes a statement! Since she just moved into this space, I had the freedom to really give it life. We were able to fit bar chairs, a workspace, and a sectional in this small space - now ready for entertaining. But get into the way the sunlight shines into this space!
Boho... but Make it Black!
When I first walked in this client's house knowing they wanted a boho theme, and seen this huge black couch... I'm not going to lie, I was nervous. I always thought of Boho as more earth tones but the black gives it more of a modern Flair! Wicker accents, pampas, faux greenery, and more make this room a bohemian dream. And check out the cute little space for the boss of the house, Mocha!
Boho Dining... On an Island
This is the first room you see as you enter this apartment, so I knew I wanted this accent wall to make a huge impression. I wanted the colors to compliment the living room space (can you guess which one?), so we brought in the "Moroccan Sunset" colored chairs, black accents, live edge wood, and more to bring this bohemian dining space to life.
Photographer's Loft
The goal was to make this living room feel like a loft in NYC aka the Concrete Jungle so the faux concrete wall mades a great background to display some beautiful photography prints. It was fun finding all the camera themed accent pieces and art to really capture the essence. Adding some floor to ceiling crapes that run from wall to wall makes it easy to black out this space for the great afternoon naps this client is hoping for.
Emerald Accents
This client already had a bunch to work with but they felt it needed more color... more FLAIR. Glamming up the entry way, creating a small designated workspace, and adding emerald accents to tie it all together. This project has brought out my love for profound wall mounted TV stands.
Bloomfield
This client wanted to open up the space and make it feel cozy and more modern. Beautiful greys take over this space and I took her favorite color purple, and a dash of marigold allowing those to give us our pops of color. Some extra seating in the conversation area along with custom cushions for the benches, make this a place friends and family will love to stay for hours. I mean how beautiful is that bar?!
A Gentleman's Quarters
This space is curated for a gentleman's gentleman. The warm color palette mixed with cognac leather, and woods makes you want to reach for a nice glass of bourbon and a cigar while you sit back listening to some instrumentals from the record player.
Coppers and Cognacs
This couple had a lot to work with, a rose copper side table, a beautiful yellow couch and a big blue accent wall. It was my job to tie that all together - some cognac leather and copper accents did the trick! I also had to focus on the unused side of the room. I decided to put a tall table, additional seating under a sentimental focal point, and a small bar because why not?
Astoria Restoria
The main part of this project was to fill an empty corner of this living room with something multifunctional, and bring some Flair to the rest of the room, which already had tons of pieces to work with. Lots of customizing went into the room from the shelves, to the table, to the Welsh cupboard. But my favorite parts were revamping and customizing the lamps and the bar cart! Bringing in some artwork and drapes is just what this room needed... OH! and something you can't see... an antique gold valet hook behind the closet door for garment steaming (special request).
